Project Summary

Stalworth installed 26 drilled soldier piles in a BNSF rail embankment for a new retaining wall. The shafts were installed from track elevation with the loader and drill straddling train tracks. The job frequently had to halt to allow trains to pass on the neighboring tracks. More than half of the job was not accesible by crane.
