The Project Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing take-offs and determining appropriate earth retention systems during pre-construction phase of projects, preparing construction procedures, managing outside consultants, creating project budgets, monitoring load testing in field, tracking onsite inventories, creating and submitting pay applications, and creating and submitting project documentation, as well as other tasks as assigned.
Requirements: Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering, experience in construction or engineering, and experience with computer applications for spreadsheets, word processing, and AutoCAD
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for design and review of deep foundation and earth retention structures and complete calculations and sketches, and supervise AutoCAD drafter to prepare shop drawings for submittal to our clients. The S.E. will work closely with the project team to optimize designs and constructability; meet project quality standards and specifications; and to make adjustments to designs as necessitated by owner generated changes or differing field conditions.
Requirements: Candidates must have an Illinois Structural Engineering license, a B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structures or Geotechnical Engineering, have strong foundation and earth retention design capabilities, 5 years design/build foundation experience and have good oral and written skills.
